How It Feels | Community Textile Public Showcase

As part of City of Ryde’s Artist-in-Residence program, we are delighted to invite you to the public showcase of the collaborative community textile piece.

This is the creation of a large textile work capturing the many different feelings experienced by the people of Ryde — a bit like a heat map of feelings. The work will be made up of individual blocks (max. 30 x 30 cm) contributed by members of the public. Each block is inspired by one or more feelings experienced by the person making the block.

Come along, bring family and friends and enjoy some light refreshemnts on the day.

Time: 2.00pm - 4.00pm

Location: Westward Cottage - 8 Turner St, Ryde

Parking: Timed parking available in local surrounding streets. Public carpark available on Church St.
