This Women's Health Week, gain confidence and strategies to build your professional networks for support at work and a healthy career!

Somehow, we’re all supposed to know how to “build our personal brand” without sounding like we’re running for office. But how do you introduce yourself without sounding rehearsed? Turn small talk into an actual connection? Message someone on LinkedIn without immediately regretting it? And what are you even supposed to post on there?!

This interactive workshop is about making networking feel more human, useful and actually doable. We’ll tackle the awkward bits, give your LinkedIn a glow-up, practise making connections, and learn how to build a network that can create opportunities long after the workshop ends.

No awkward elevator pitches. No collecting 47 business cards you’ll never look at again. And absolutely no requirement to become a LinkedIn influencer. Just good conversations, practical tips, and a room full of women worth knowing.

Learn from Dr Rebecca Bachmann, a lecturer Course Director for the Bachelor of Professional Accounting at Macquarie University. Passionate about making accounting meaningful and accessible, she brings together deep research expertise and an energetic, student-focused approach to education.

Attendees will also receive a free premium subscription to LinkedIn to continue making the most of your networking skills! (Please note that these will only be provided to those who attend on the day.)
