Following the City of Ryde Council Meeting adjournment from last night (Tuesday 29 April) due to a fire alarm evacuation interrupting proceedings, the meeting will be held tonight, Wednesday 30 April, at 7.00pm.

The Mortlake Ferry began operating in 1925 and is the only remaining punt in Sydney. It crosses Parramatta River from Hilly Street, Mortlake to Pellisier Road, Putney. The punt carries cars, pedestrians and cycles and is free of charge. The trip takes 5 minutes.
