Ryde Library Service Strategic Plan
The Ryde Library Service Strategic Plan Great Libraries Great Communities 2019-2024 identifies goals for the development of library services, and provides short and long term strategies to implement those goals. It also provides a Library Service Delivery Model outlining the expected future capacity requirements of City of Ryde’s libraries, both in terms of the size of the populations they serve, and the services required in the future.
The Ryde Library Service Strategic Plan is used to develop services to meet community needs. In the short term it will assist with day-to-day planning and decision-making on matters that impact the way library services are provided to the community.
Latest Updates: Our upcoming Libraries Strategy
The City of Ryde is developing a new Libraries Strategy.
To ensure our libraries reflect the needs of our diverse community, we will be consulting with residents, workers, students, and visitors to understand how current library services and spaces are being used, and to gather feedback on what improvements or new services may be needed in the future.
The Strategy will cover a board range of library-related areas including programs, collections, technology, operations, engagement, customer service and spaces.
