Combat the cost of living crisis by learning how to create a budget with simple tools & strategies in this free financial literacy session.

We all know budgeting is useful, especially now more than ever with the cost of living crisis, when prices for nearly everything are rising much faster than our income.

There are spreadsheets, apps, books on budgeting. However most people don’t start budgeting– why?

Join us at Ryde Library as we explore some of the blocks to creating budgets. We will be using neuroscience findings to help you get started in designing a budget that’s tailored and practical for you. Budgeting with neuroscience involves applying insights from the field of neuroscience to improve financial decision-making and behaviour. Budgeting without pain involves adopting strategies and mindsets that make the budgeting process less stressful and more manageable.

We will create a basic budget during the session and discuss budgeting tools, habits, hacks and resources that are available to everyone.
