Lantern Displays
To set the atmosphere, Council have installed beautiful red lanterns at the Eastwood Plaza trellis. A display of traditional Korean Lanterns have also been installed throughout Rowe Street East lighting up the streets to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
Immerse yourself in the culture as we celebrate the year of the Dragon by walking through Light Up Korea Town lantern display and then head over to Eastwood oval on Saturday 17th February, 4pm till 9pm, for City of Ryde's family friendly Lunar New Year Festival.
The Lanterns Light Up Korea Town is supported by the Commonwealth through the Australia-Korea Foundation, which is part of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
