The City of Ryde is committed to the delivery of high-quality infrastructure to improve safety of shared footpaths. As part of the commitment, Council will install light poles along the shared path at Anderson Park, Ryde (near the corner of Belmore and Parsonage Streets, Ryde).
What will the work involve?
• Supply and install 4 x pole lights along the shared path at Anderson Park, Ryde.
When will the work take place?
Work will commence after Easter holidays from Tuesday 2nd April 2024 and are anticipated to be completed within two weeks by Friday 12th April 2024, weather permitting. The work will be undertaken from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.00am and 5.00pm.
What are the changed conditions during the work?
For safety, the section of the shared footpath, playground and shelter areas will be closed during the above-mentioned period. An alternative route is shown in the work notification linked below.
On-street traffic access may be affected at times during this work. The contractor will coordinate directly with impacted residents/users when this is required. Traffic control will be in place to manage traffic and pedestrian movement safely throughout the work.
