Council Resolution | Development Control Plan 2014 - Tree Preservation

The draft amendments to the Development Control Plan 2014 (DCP) - Tree Preservation were on public exhibition from 16 September to 27 October 2024, during which time our community shared their feedback.
The community engagement outcomes were reported at recent Council meetings and the feedback helped inform Council's decision.
At the Council meeting on Tuesday 22 July 2025, Council resolved to adopt the updated DCP Part 9.5 – Tree Preservation.
Council Resolution
At the Council Meeting held on Tuesday 22 July 2025, it was resolved:
That Council adopt the Development Control Plan 2014 Part 9.5 – Tree Preservation V7 dated May 2025 as attached to this report, subject to Part 6.3 being amended to add a third point as follows:-
A mandatory 12-month follow-up inspection is required after the initial planting of the approved advanced species to ensure it remains healthy and intact.
