Council’s Sportsground Amenities Renewal and Upgrade Program aims to ensure that all families, park patrons and sporting user groups have access to safe, accessible and high-quality parks and sporting facilities.

In 2019, it was identified through consultation on the ELS Hall Park, Greenwood Park and Booth Reserve Masterplan that the community would like to see improved spectator seating, picnic facilities, cricket nets and other supporting infrastructure for sport and park users. It was also identified that the amenities building required replacement.

Therefore, Council is building a new amenities building and upgrading Field 3 at ELS Hall Park.

What will the works include?

The new amenities building will include player change rooms and showers, a referee room, canteen, storage rooms, public unisex toilets including an accessible toilet.

The Field 3 upgrade will include new terraced spectator seating, connecting paths and stairs, new fencing, a groundskeeper storage shed, cricket nets, shelter with picnic facilities and new floodlights. Field 3 will remain open for the duration of the works.

When will the works be completed?

Construction is underway and is planned for completion by August 2022, weather permitting.
