An Extraordinary Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 10 June 2025 in the Council Chambers, Level 1A, 1 Pope Street, Ryde and online commencing at 6.00pm.
Council is committed to making its roads safe. Better understanding of road safety issues and solutions is important in achieving our goal. Each year, the Roads and Maritime Services (previously the RTA) provides crash statistics for the Ryde local government area. These statistics are analysed by the Road and Community Safety Project Officer and the resulting report guides Council's projects and planning around road and community safety. The activities of the Road and Community Safety Project Officer aim to reduce the casualties on City of Ryde roads by raising awareness in the community of road safety issues in order to change driver and pedestrian behaviour.
