The shared user path within Darvall Park in Denistone has been temporarily closed due to landslips on the eastern side of the creek and opposite 105-107 Chatham Road, Denistone.
Council is currently engaging a geotechnical consultant to determine the extent of slope instability and the required extent of remediation work. Following the determination of remediation work, City of Ryde, in consultation with Transport for NSW, will undertake the necessary actions to make the area safe.
Council is also in the process of engaging a Traffic Management Consultant to implement a traffic control plan to provide a safe detour arrangement for pedestrians and cyclists.
