Following a meeting of the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) in Sydney on 13 March, and advice of Chief Medical Officer, Brendan Murphy, Prime Minister Scott Morrison advised against any non-essential organised gatherings of 500 or more people from Monday 16 March 2020. In light of this, City of Ryde has cancelled several upcoming major events including the West Ryde Easter Parade and Fair. This is a precautionary measure for community safety. Find out more.


Cork & Fork by the Riverside showcases boutique wine and spirits, craft beer, food trucks, gourmet food products and bespoke items in a picturesque location next to the Parramatta River.

Bring a rug and indulge in the large variety of products on offer whilst listening to the entertainment provided on the main stage.

Entry is free but you will need to purchase a $5 branded glass on the day to enjoy free wine and beer tastings.

There will also be plenty of things to keep the kids entertained with inflatables and kids rides (unlimited wristbands for $25), pony rides ($5 per ride) and a large variety of free activities including kids cooking classes, craft workshops and face painting.

Children under 18 years need to be accompanied by an adult.
