The 2026 Granny Smith Festival Design Your Own Poster Competition has now closed. Thank you to all the young artists who submitted their creative and colourful entries.

This year, all entries will be proudly displayed at Eastwood Public School, providing participants with the opportunity to showcase their artwork to the community and celebrate their creativity.

The competition was open to children aged 3-12 years, across two age categories: 3-6 years and 7-12 years.

We wish all participants the best of luck.

Winners will be announced Wednesday 7 October via the Granny Smith Festival Facebook page. In the meantime, keep an eye out for the fantastic artwork on display and join us in celebrating the creativity of our local young artists.

The winner in each category will win:

First Prize

  • Unlimited rides pass on the day for you and two friends
  • $50 Gift Card
  • Granny Smith Festival gift pack

Runners Up

  • Unlimited rides pass on the day for you and one friend
  • Granny Smith Festival gift pack

Colouring In Competition | Terms and Conditions

  • Participants do not need to reside in the City of Ryde
  • Limit of 1 entry per child
  • If the event organiser is unable to contact the winner within 7 days, another winner will be selected
  • City of Ryde staff are not able to enter the competition
  • Entries will be judged by a judging panel for their creativity and uniqueness
  • All entries will be considered with equal weighting 
  • Selected entries may also be displayed through Council’s communication channels or events marketing platforms. No personal details will be uploaded; only the child’s first name and age will be displayed
  • All decisions made by the judging panel are final and no correspondence will be entered into
  • Winner must be at the event on the day (Saturday 17 October 2026) in order to receive their prize
  • In the event that a prize is lost after being awarded, City of Ryde are not responsible for providing a replacement or issuing another form of compensation for the lost prize
  • By participating in the competition, is automatic acceptance of the Terms & Conditions
  • Contestants must have parental or guardian consent to enter the colouring competition
