Climate Resilience: Navigating Risks, Building Connections

Climate Resilience Workshop

Communities in Australia are experiencing unprecedented levels of urban overheating, unpredictable flooding and increasing risks of emergencies, coupled with a cost of living crisis, your most vulnerable clients will be most at risk of impacts.

What can organisation and service providers do to best support your clients and how can we collaborate to ensure the greatest community resilience?

Join providers from the Lane Cove and Ryde council areas to discuss and share what you are doing and how we can best support each other.

Participants will be involved in an interactive workshop looking at:

  • Understanding the risk and controls at the various national, state, and local levels.
  • Engaging with other organisations who can support your team and clients.
  • Practical ideas from communities around Australia and the world that you can apply.

Refreshments will be provided.

This event is aimed at community organisations and service providers.
