Rethink e-cycling - e-waste recycling drive

Do you have old computers, monitors, printers or other unwanted electronics gathering dust at home? This October, Macquarie University is partnering with Konica Minolta and ANZRP's TechCollect program to help our community recycle e-waste responsibly.

As part of e-Recycling Week 2026, students, staff and the wider community can drop off eligible electronic items for free recycling at convenient locations across campus. The initiative aims to keep valuable materials out of landfill, recover resources for reuse, and support Australia's transition to a circular economy. More than 90% of materials collected through accredited e-waste recycling programs can be recovered and used in new products.
