Core Skills: Reading, Writing and Speaking English Skills

This 8 session course will build your confidence in basic English reading, writing and speaking skills to support you towards further study or to engage with your community. It is suitable for intermediate students who have language skills which enable them to communicate in everyday situations eg asking for information (NOT for beginners).

You will:

• Use reading clues to become a better reader
• Practise reading everyday texts
• Learn how to fill out a form
• Draft, edit and write simple sentences/paragraphs for everyday purposes
• Learn strategies to improve your spelling
• Build your everyday written and spoken vocabulary.
