Creative Corner: Stitching Club

Next date: Tuesday, 21 May 2024 | 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM

Library Stitching Club

The Creative Corner: Stitching Club will allow opportunities for you to make many embroidery stitches to decorate or mend your clothes. Bring your long stitch, short stitch, freeform embroidery, tapestry and needle and thread.

Embroidery is an old artform of needlework that is used to embellish textiles for decorative purposes. It uses colour, texture, richness, and dimension to create beautiful works of art.

Facilitated by local Narda Campbell who is a fibre artist, designer and teacher who is fascinated by colours and patterns in daily life as an expression of colour and identity.

These sessions will be held the 3rd Tuesday of the month every 2 months from March to November 2024. Drop-in sessions, bookings not required.
