Learn how you can use AI safely to support your wellbeing and help you navigate everyday information at Ryde Library

Wondering how new digital tools can support your wellbeing and help you navigate everyday information?

Join WSTI at Ryde Library for an approachable, one-hour session on using artificial intelligence safely and effectively. Designed especially for seniors and non-tech-savvy learners, this session provides practical guidance in a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting. Live examples will adapt to audience interests and take-home reference guides are included.

In this session learn how:

  • AI can help translate complicated health leaflets,
  • AI can draft personal question lists for upcoming doctor visits, and
  • You can spot misleading health fads, deepfakes, and online scams.

You will also explore authoritative Australian health and safety resources—including Healthdirect and Be Connected—and share simple techniques to check the facts before you trust what you read on your screen.
