This session blends storytelling, cultural exploration, and creative arts
● Storytime – A lively retelling of the story of Rama and Sita and the traditions of Diwali.
● Picture Book Reading – The Best Rangoli Ever, A Diwali Story. A missing box of rangoli colours threatens Veer and Rashi's Diwali party plans, and so begins a race against time. But with a little innovation and some colourful items from around the house, might the children create the best rangoli ever?
● Show-and-Tell - I bring diyas, rangoli patterns, and other colourful materials to the session to demonstrate the use of light and colour in Diwali traditions.
● Hands-On Creative Activities
○ Step-by-step rangoli drawing
○ Rangoli colouring
○ Diya decorating
○ Mandala scratch art
○ Diwali suncatcher painting
○ Make a Diwali Wish Wall
