Council is proposing to amend the Generic Plans of Management for Christie Park by changing the categorisation of part of Christie Park from ‘Parks’ to ‘Sportsgrounds’ to deliver the remaining Christie Park Masterplan stages.
Our community is invited to attend the public hearing on the proposed land recategorisation in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993. Council will use an independent facilitator, Sandy Hoy, Director, Parkland Planners, to conduct the public hearing.
The public hearing will be held in person.
Registration is required and places are limited. Registrations for the public hearing close Wednesday 22 July 2026 (extended).
