How the Library of Things works
Borrowing from the Collection
- Borrowing from the Library of Things is open to members of City of Ryde Libraries that are over 18 years old. Not already a member? It's easy to join the library and borrow.

- Before you borrow your first item you will need to sign a waiver. Please speak to staff at the front desk.

Conditions of the Loan
- Up to three (3) items can be borrowed for three (3) weeks; there are no reservations or renewals.

- Items can only be returned to West Ryde Library and must be returned during opening hours.

- Replacement costs apply for any lost or damaged items, pieces or boxes. If the item cannot be used because of a missing or broken piece, the cost of the whole item applies.

- Please return items in good working condition, i.e. clean, complete, undamaged and in their boxes with labels attached. Staff will check the items upon return.
