You can Have Your Say on the design and artwork for the new ELS Hall Park Playground in a number of ways including the online submission form below or at one of the community events.
Afternoon Drop-in Session
You’re invited to meet with the project team to discuss the new playground. You’ll be able to view the draft ideas, ask questions and together we can plan for a better playground.

Habitat Art Children's Workshops
We're hosting two workshops for children to meet with the artist, Jade Oakley, and be involved in adding ideas for the artwork. Using art, science, storytelling, nature walks and play, we will investigate the following questions:
- What native animals live in the area?
- What animals used to live here?
- Can we identify any new species?
- How can we help to enhance local habitat?

WORKSHOP 1 - DRAWING + MOBILE WILDLIFE ZOO - SOMETHING WILD!
Ages: 5 - 9 year olds accompanied by a parent
Time: 10:00am - 12:00noon
Featuring such animals as Blossom the Possum and Princess the Python, the Something Wild! show is a great way to introduce kids to our wonderful wildlife. The children will get up close and interact with a wide range of native Australian animals, touching a range of animals with totally different textures. WORKSHOP 2 - NEST BOX MAKING + DECORATING
Ages: 10 - 13 year olds accompanied by a parent
Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm
The workshop will include discussions on habitat and making and decorating a nesting box. Nesting boxes created will be integrated into the new playground to be built in the park.
